CAEx and the Exporters’ Association of Uzbekistan to Strengthen International Buyer Programme

Tashkent, August 12, 2026. Central Asian Expo Uzbekistan (CAEx) and the Exporters’ Association of Uzbekistan have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation. One of the key areas of the partnership will be the development of an international buyer programme for CAEx Mebel & Decor, CAEx Build & Co., and CAEx Food & HoReCa exhibitions.

The two organizations will combine their resources and business networks to attract international retail chains, distributors, importers, wholesalers and other professional buyers interested in the products and services presented by exhibitors. The programme will be tailored to the specific focus of each exhibition and the profiles of participating companies, creating opportunities for targeted B2B meetings and new business connections.

“We expect this cooperation to be mutually beneficial for both sides. Our goal is to develop CAEx exhibitions together with Uzbek exhibitors while also creating a platform where exporters can invite their international clients and potential business partners. Ultimately, we want to create real opportunities for meetings, trade and business development,” said Mehmet Dukkanci, Chief Operating Officer of CAEx.

Yorkin Malikov, Chairman of the Exporters’ Association of Uzbekistan, noted that the partnership will create additional opportunities for local manufacturers and exporters:

“First of all, I would like to thank the entire team working to make this cooperation as valuable and mutually beneficial as possible. Above all, this is a great opportunity for businesses in Uzbekistan, particularly our exporters. Together, we aim to help increase their exports, production and sales both domestically and internationally.”

He also highlighted the role of international exhibitions in promoting Uzbek manufacturers and strengthening their export potential.

“At international exhibitions, our businesses have the opportunity to attract significant attention and connect with new partners. That is why it is particularly important to join forces and work as one team. Together, we can do more for our manufacturers, increase their sales and export potential, and contribute to the continued development and reputation of our exhibitions,” Malikov added.

The partnership will cover the key sectors represented at CAEx exhibitions, including construction, furniture and design, food and HoReCa. The two organizations will work together to attract international buyers, strengthen B2B connections and support Uzbek companies in expanding into international markets.
